Lagless
Benchmarked July 2025
Lagless charges $8/mo for the plan we tested, running on AMD Ryzen 9 9900X 12-Core Processor with 4 GB of RAM. It lands in our high end tier, strongest at entity processing and weakest at chunk generation. Support took a few hours to respond.
What You Need to Know
β The Good
Tops every host we've benchmarked for entity processing.
Tops every host we've benchmarked for disk I/O.
Tops every host we've benchmarked for raw CPU math.
β The Bad
Only 43% of the category leader on chunk generation.
Took 3 hours to respond to a help request.
The Bottom Line
Lagless is a high-end option that shines at best-in-class entity processing, but watch out for weak chunk generation.
Lagless's AMD Ryzen 9 9900X 12-Core Processor is a mid-pack machine in our lineup, and it shows in the demanding workloads β it tops the field for entity processing, disk i/o, and raw cpu math. On the flip side, chunk generation lands at just 43% of the category leader, with block updates at 59% β worth weighing if your server leans on that. Run-to-run consistency was acceptable but not rock-solid (~12% variance across 15 runs). Bottom line: a high-end performer, strongest where it counts for entity processing.
Hardware
The test server posts a hardware score of 164 β high-end for a Minecraft host (AMD Ryzen 9 9900X 12-Core Processor, 2 cores). Minecraft performance is about what you'd expect from this hardware. Among the 4 hosts we tested on comparable hardware, it ranks #1.

Support
π¬ Getting help
Support first assumed we wanted a full server setup and pointed us to BuiltByBit β helpful, but not what we asked. After a second message they pointed us to their built-in plugin installer, which was what we needed.
πͺ Cancelling
Walked us through cancelling ourselves β but the instructions were wrong.
